Stamping Fee Changes Coming!

Effective January 1, 2017 three states will be changing their Stamp Fee charges for Surplus Lines business:
Pennsylvania stamp fee is going to $20.00 one-time flat charge on policies effective on or after 1/1/2017.
New York stamp fee is going to 0.17% on all transactions where the policy is effective on or after 1/1/2017.
North Carolina will begin operation of the NC Surplus Lines Stamping Office and will institute a 0.4% stamp fee on all transactions where the policy is effective on or after 1/1/2017.
