Happy Spring! It is official now, even though I had to scrape ice off the truck windshield this morning! Winter gets a bad rap, and Summer gets the most complaints (too hot, too humid, too many bugs…), but Spring is the golden child of the seasons. Think about it – visions of golf, wearing shorts, riding your bike, and planting your garden all spring to mind.

Regardless of the weather outside, Spring has sprung here in Western PA, and I am looking forward to hitting the driving range to work off the rust. I know that Jinny can’t wait to put her Peloton subscription on hold and get on a “real bike.” 

I imagine a lot of your customers spring back into action this time of year. Here at The Tuscano Agency, we see a lot of building trades activity right about now, and that includes everything from contractors to environmental engineers. There is also a great deal more happening in the trucking industry. Think about it, all those building materials come to you on trucks! As a matter of fact, Main Street in Greensburg will be closed on Saturday morning while a parade of 49 trucks delivers nearly 2,000 tons of concrete to a construction site at the Westmoreland County courthouse! So yes, a push for writing trucking business at this time of year is on the top of my mind.
