Wow! Here we are in the early days of November. Halloween is over, and now, so is baseball. Shout out to the Texas Rangers – the other Texas baseball team! Here in Western PA, the leaves finally fell because of the long rainy days we’ve had, and yesterday, I got to drive to work in the snow! Bring it!

Forgive my enthusiasm; it’s easy to have a positive outlook on things when you get to play fall golf in sunny Florida! I was lucky to spend the weekend with many of my old insurance friends a few weeks ago. This was a ‘reimagined’ outing since most of us met as young men attending company-sponsored golf events. The reimagined part is that we all paid our own green fees! Getting together with many of my [old and new] peers is priceless.

This being the month of Thanksgiving, it’s good for me to reflect on our good fortune. I’m fortunate that my dad was a simple and hard-working man. I am fortunate that I got to work with my family and that some of the best insurance people around have chosen to make (or made) Tuscano their employer. I’m fortunate I have made so many friends in this industry. And yes, I am darn lucky I got invited to play golf at some of the country's most renowned golf courses. I am genuinely a thankful man.
