I know that summer doesn’t technically begin until June 21st but, like most people, I consider Memorial Day to be the unofficial start to summer, and that’s right around the corner. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to shed some layers and welcome the nice weather!

There’s something about the arrival of summer that just lifts the spirit. After months of gray skies and chilly mornings, the warmth and sunlight are a welcome change. The days are longer, the air feels lighter, and everything seems to move with a little more energy and purpose. It’s that time of year when stepping outside feels like a reset—whether it’s a morning walk, an evening on the patio, or just rolling the windows down on the way to work.

I’m especially excited about the chance to spend more time outdoors. There’s nothing quite like taking a break in the sunshine or getting out on the weekends to enjoy the fresh air. Whether it's a backyard BBQ, a community event, or a simple afternoon at the park, summer brings those small moments that help us recharge and reconnect—with nature, with others, and with ourselves.

The better weather also brings a renewed sense of momentum. It’s a great time to revisit goals, tackle new projects, and embrace the opportunities this season brings—personally and professionally. I’m looking forward to everything this summer has in store, and I hope it’s a season of health, connection, and sunshine for everyone.

Tuscano Agency summer hours begin Friday, May 23rd. Every Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day, our office closes at 3pm. The goal is to promote a healthy work-life balance, so our team is recharged and ready to provide you with the top-notch service you’re accustomed to come Monday morning.

The office will be closed for Memorial Day on Monday, May 26th as we honor and remember those who have died while serving in the U.S. military. To all current and former members of the armed forces, thank you for your service.
