June 16th, 2025

Many of you probably recall Rob Tuscano writing about his big Fourth of July party in prior newsletters. It was a lot of fun, with a pig roast, a recitation of the Declaration of Independence, and fireworks (so many fireworks). Believe me when I tell you that the fireworks display that my uncle Barry put on rivaled ones that you would see in big cities. Just ask the many people who weren’t invited to the party but would park alongside the road next to Rob’s property to take in the show.

Rob stopped hosting that party several years ago, partly because it was just a ton of work. I remember him taking the week off prior to the event to get the property ready for all those visitors, and it would take most of the following day to get it cleaned up. I really miss that party, but maybe if enough of us ask him about it, he’ll bring it back for one last hurrah…

This year I have a very special celebration to look forward to during the holiday weekend: Coco’s high school graduation party! That’s right, my baby graduated with honors from Greater Latrobe High School, and she’ll be heading off to Robert Morris University in the fall. It kind of makes me feel old, but then I remind myself that our youngest just started elementary school, and she keeps me young!

As we gear up to celebrate America’s independence, we want to take a moment to thank you for your continued partnership. We’re proud to support your business and the communities you serve — especially during times that remind us of what matters most: freedom, service, and coming together for the greater good.

We know many of your clients work tirelessly to support others through non-profit organizations — whether they’re operating food banks, hosting community events, or providing essential services to those in need. These organizations face unique risks and challenges, and we’re here to help you protect them.

Our markets offer tailored coverage options for a wide variety of non-profits, including:

  • Charitable foundations and social service organizations
  • Arts and cultural groups
  • Educational and youth programs
  • Religious institutions and more

If you have non-profit clients in need of General Liability, Property, D&O, Abuse & Molestation, or Special Event coverage, we’re ready to help you find the right fit.

Please note that our office will be closed on Friday, July 4 as we celebrate Independence Day.

Enjoy the holiday with family and friends — and don’t hesitate to reach out if we can help you support your clients before the fireworks begin!

Happy Fourth!

As always, I’d love to hear how we’re treating you. Please call or drop me a line to let me know

Cheers,

Robin
